Located in the heart of Nava, “la Comarca de la Sidra” (the Cider Shire), we find Sidrería Plaza.
This emblematic Nava restaurant has been run since 2010 by Manuel Marcilla, who together with his team have managed to make Sidrería Plaza a must stop in Nava.
We are committed to a close and professional service, with the search for the highest quality raw materials, which have become the premises of this house. In recognition of this way of working, Sidrería Restaurant Plaza (Nava), was one of the 21 cider houses that received one new seal of quality “Sidrerías de Asturias” (Cider houses of Asturias)
Daily and festive menu
Sidreria Plaza offers a varied menu in which the Asturian product stands out. Rations such as “tortos” stuffed with caramelized onions and “Cabrales” cheese, nuggets of “cabrito de Peña Mayor” to the cider, a “cachopo paisano” that doesn’t leave indifferent, “callos” and “fabada” of big level.(Products in quotation marks are typical and unique products of our region)
We also have a careful selection of wines, Sidrería Plaza bets on the good cider.
Being one of the most pampered products of the house and taking care of much, both the temperature and the scant. It is currently on sale, Lot 17 of Castañón, as natural cider and Lot 28 of Novalín (Llagar Orizon) as a cider with appellation of origin, although rotation of sticks is the custom of the house.
There are also other varieties of cider, such as Prau Monga Brut DOP, 1947 cider of new expression and cider of ice diamonds, all of the llagar Viuda de Angelón.
